But is it worth pursuing? As an artist, being different in your art creation is mostly a plus. And the people I meet through my art requires diversity. The ? is whether we can deal with diversity in our lives. As for myself, I find other people fascinating and learn so much from different cultures. The most important thing I have learned is that we are so much alike in our goals. I value the differences that they bring into my life. The one point I want to make is that I try not to be around people who are so rigid in their views. Not every acquaintance is going to be a positive fit. So try to be open but know that you don’t have to accept people who make you feel vulnerable or threatens your identity. Be kind to yourself too.
