The symbols, "X" and "O", stand for loving messages of hugs and kisses but they also have other meanings that are of a more negative nature. "X" is used to inform someone to erase, delete or remove what is underneath the X. "O" is used to denote zero, nothing, none, or a blank space.  When we look at some symbols more closely, we realize that their definitions change depending on how they are expressed much like our tone of voice or facial expressions.  I find it fascinating to explore these uses in my creative process.
