Inspiration for "Spacing Out Again" came from my belief that we need more love and acceptance in our lives, represented by "O's" and "X's", the symbols that represent love. Love surrounds us and we just have to be more aware of its presence around us in our vast space in this world. There is so much chaos filling the space so it becomes more difficult to connect with it and pull it in. It was my hope, with the use of limited acrylic colors and organic shapes, to point out the importance of the message. Loneliness is a feeling that many of us feel today with all the devices in our lives and our seclusion, even when we are in the same room with others.
