I have posted 3 or 4 posts now about trying to hang your abstract painting in a different direction.

And they have been shown to be very popular with my readers.

This is my painting, Making Your Way, how I originally created it horizontally. Below you will see it hung vertically in both directions.

As a fine artist painter, when I create a painting, I am seeing it a certain way. But that does not mean that you have to hang it that way depending on your likes or your spacing arrangements.

While a painting might look great vertically, it also might look fabulous horizontally as shown in the photos below. Or visa versa.

I have to admit that I can get a little bored with things staying the same. And start looking for some change in my own home design.

That is how I discovered this trick. And it changes the room instantly. Gives it a new perspective without spending a dime!

Just give it a try with your abstract painting. Or when you are ready to purchase some new abstract paintings, have the artist or gallery turn it around and around to see if it can be hung multiple ways.
